When my husband asked me the name of my very first blog, I told him I couldn't remember. All the names I wanted were taken and when I finally hit on a combination of words that almighty Google said were available, my ADD-addled brain had already forgotten. I had to login to Blogger to see what I named this little project. Not an auspicious beginning. This blog should be called "Random and Moody." That's me.
I'm not even sure why I'm doing this other than I'm a stay at home mom and I need a creative outlet. Plus my family and probably some of my friends are offended by my posts on politics, religion and culture on Facebook so I needed a more appropriate space. My very wise stepmom said if I wanted to talk about controversial topics there are plenty of places other than FB, so here I am.
First thing you need to know about me is that I'm an orthodox, practicing Catholic, wife and mom to 6 (and one in Heaven). I'm a former homeschooler, a new wave feminist and pro-life. I'm conservative, libertarian and liberal depending on the issue. I'll be writing about marriage, motherhood, education, religion, politics, culture and random topics.
Fair warning - there might be some gratuitous cursing because I'm kind of a bitch sometimes.
